Mount rubber and acrylic printing plates on cylinders and acrylic sleeves. The cylinders and sleeves are put on a machine. Using an eye-loop type device, a sticky back material, and precise measurements the plates are put on the cylinder or sleeve.

Mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools (rulers, razors)
Must pass the same basic math, ruler, and mechanical test as the adjusters
Patience and attention to detail
Must have good eyesight
Must be able to operate a small overhead hoist for lifting the cylinders
Must be able to lift the awkward sleeves up and down from the racks
Written communication and record keeping
Must be able to work independently using their time wisely

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods on concrete floors (7-9 hours a day). The employee is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, the ability to adjust focus and excellent color vision.
An employee must regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.

No long sleeve shirts or loose clothing may be worn. In addition, no jewelry of any kind may be worn. This is a steel-toed shoe/boot required position. Safety glasses are required during cleaning operations or other duties as directed by supervision.
The noise level on a daily basis is loud with mandatory hearing protection required.
