Work and support all aspects of operations department as described below.
Experienced powered industrial equipment / lift truck driver; stand-up reach truck, stand up and sit down forklift, and single and double electric pallet jack, loading and unloading semi-trucks
Sort, stack and organize items to simplify work flow.
Weigh, label, take temperatures and document required information.
Store product into proper racking space in freezer and other areas of the facility.
Obtain pull list from supervisor for product to be pulled for processing schedule.
Pull items according to item description and designated quantity.
Stage product in specific area that is indicated on the pull list.
Assist in movement of product within production areas as needed.
Return overstock to freezer with proper documentation.
Understands lot tracking and FIFO (first in first out).
Follow and lead by example in facility and personnel safety rules.
Follow quality and housekeeping expectations.
Required standing and walking during work shift.
Ability to work in a -10 degree freezer for 4-8 hours of the work day and exposure to cold temperatures daily.
Use of hands for simple/firm grasping. On occasion performs continuous repetitive hand motion.
Frequent bending and stooping and reaching below waist and above shoulder level.
Frequent lifting and carrying product from 5 pounds up to 50 pounds, Occasional kneeling/pushing/pulling.
Proper use and donning of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Works hours and overtime as required, this will include work on weekends. Hours are subject to change.
Other duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, or managers.
