Monitor, plan and execute the work orders using the production white board. Ensure that agreed upon shipping dates happen and immediately lets the Production Manager know if a ship date is in jeopardy.
Reads and follows test procedure.
Test functional performance of assemblies.
Calibrates test instruments according to specifications.
Connect unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter, or spectrum analyzer.
Read dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.
Compare results with specifications and records test data or plots test results on graph.
Replaces defective wiring and components or records defects on tag attached to unit and returns unit to production department for repair.
Confer with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results and to resolve problems.
Other responsibilities assigned by the Production Manager potentially including but not limited to:
- Back up test equipment programs to the J drive monthly.
- Test equipment preventive maintenance.
- Programming aspects of the IC programming machine.
- Separate and tag all nonconforming material.
- Repair or rework items by removing, adding, or replacing parts as needed.

Soldering proficiency.
Forward all request for documentation change to the Production Manager.
Ensure overall organization of the work cell. Unused items should be sorted out and removed.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Basic computer knowledge
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
