Job Duties: Sales Support Representative performs the following duties and other special projects:
Fulfill customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing end users (direct) and distributors through phone and email communications in an office environment. Responsible for incoming phone calls to the office and assisting customers.
Provide quotations, enter orders, information requests (brochures, drawings, etc.) mainly for after-market products in a friendly and timely manner for all requests. Expectation on response time for after-market quotations and order entry is 24 hours to maintain superior customer service in the marketplace.
After market products include spare parts (gaskets, plates and frame components), service products (PlateCheck, TubeCheck and Installation Assistance) and regasketing jobs in factories.
Work closely within the sales organization to support the sales engineers efforts to achieve business growth through structured sales plans. Support sales engineer requests for assistance when they are out of the office visiting customers.
Enter proposals and orders into company CRM for sales pipeline management and QTC (quote to close) analysis.
Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating designs, features, benefits and impact of products in their operation.
Submits orders accurately into company ERP system and adjust with any updates as the equipment is built.
Work closely and have collaborative relationships with sales engineers, field service team and factory to process orders to meet customer expectations.
Assist accounting with customer contact, if required.
Provide accurate and timely feedback on status of lost proposals through CRM tool and any competitive environment information to management for resolution
Participate actively in monthly, online sales meetings, sharing information and knowledge for all colleagues through presentations or updates to sales and management team.
Skills & Qualifications
Travel: Minimal, although, initial training in outside factory is required.
Education: High School Diploma, 2 Year Degree (Preferred)
Experience: 5+ Years Work Experience (Preferred)
