Bindery Set Up Operator

To set up and operate assigned assets. Complete and record all attributing
throughout production run.
Job Duties/Responsibilities (The What ):
? Gather asset specifics at and during shift change.
? Set up and operates asset to set production requirements per SOPs, all
related work instructions and control riders
? Maintains communication between assigned teams.
? Performs set -up responsibilities per approved fold style sample specification
? Actively monitors production efficiency and documentation, both through
Primac and operation of the Finishing asset.
? Assists in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely
fashion through attributing )
? Provides consistent up to date information to the production lead and
management pertaining to critical jobs and areas of interest.
? Trains apprentice or contingent loader / operators inspectors
? Performs other related duties as required.
? Supports Lean and Quality initiatives.

to match fold sequence, side guide position for R/A, and R/A plate

? Checks finished piece to spec and sample
? Shift flexibility, willingness to work overtime and on short notice
? Physical Requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching,
reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of
standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
