Customer Service Representative
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Answering customer calls and providing exceptional service to customers (internal & external)
- Entering customer orders received via phone, fax, mail or email into our ERP system
- Tracking customer s orders and following up through delivery when necessary
- Expediting emergency requests
- Proactively researching and solving customer issues to provide 100% satisfaction
- Assisting in various special assignments, including report distribution and inventory and warehouse management
- Performing database and spreadsheet maintenance
- Generating clear, consistent communications to internal and external team members regarding status and requirements of all programs
- Running periodic bulk order uploads along with processing individual orders
- Working as a team member with all IMS Account Management, Customer Service, Production, and Finance staff
- 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience
- Excellent organization, writing, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines
- Capacity to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests
- Must be a team player
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience with AS400 or similar database systems would be beneficial
